Cedar Fair King's Island

Haunt Builds

For Haunt operation at King's Island, I was asked to build two very specific garments and eight accessories for Rivertown Roamers. I was given of a form-fitting cowl and a vest/hood configuration and told to build both. I started by patterning both out of muslin and used dummies, actors on break, and myself to test-fit elements before building the final products. The cowl was made out of black pleather and a nylon lining; 8 grommets were added under the chin for a snug fit. The vest/hood was made out of two cotton/nylon base fabrics; snaps were added to create functioning pockets and grommets were added between the shoulders for a snug fit. I also made four chaperones and four coifs to be used as accessories.
